We’ve built strong, lasting relationships with suppliers, contractors, and site managers across New Zealand and internationally. We started with a simple idea: get the right products to the right sites, without the hassle. That meant knowing what our customers needed, understanding the products we supplied and being there when it mattered. More than 25 years later, that commitment hasn’t changed. Practical advice, reliable supply, and products we believe in remain at the heart of Everitts.
How it started
Everitt Site Supplies began in 2000 with a simple idea and a strong work ethic. Founded by Steve Everitt after 15 years of hands-on construction site and sales experience, the business started from the back of a small box-bodied delivery truck, with a laptop serving as the office and Auckland construction sites as the workplace.
From day one, the goal was clear: to use that industry experience, build close relationships with leading local and international chemists and manufacturers, and bring innovative, practical solutions directly to New Zealand construction sites.
That straightforward approach worked.
Growing the business
Through deep product knowledge, reliable service and a genuine commitment to its customers, Everitts steadily built a reputation the construction industry could trust.
At the same time, regular visits to international trade shows and manufacturers opened new opportunities. These relationships gave Everitts direct access to innovative products, emerging technologies and specialist expertise from Europe and the USA allowing the company to introduce proven, high-quality solutions to New Zealand’s commercial construction industry.
It was a combination of local experience and international thinking that helped shape Everitts into the business it is today.
Everitts Today
What started as a one-man operation grew year by year. By 2018, the business had expanded to three trucks, two utes, and a team of seven, with Steve's wife Pip overseeing office operations.
Like many businesses, the early 2020s brought challenges that slowed growth, but not momentum. Everitt Site Supplies adapted, stayed close to its customers, and kept delivering.
Today, with Steve's sons Josh and Chris joining the business, Everitts remains proudly family-driven. Experience, fresh energy, and the same original values continue to guide the company forward.
