| SKYDOME Concrete Slab Formwork |
SKYDOME is a modular plastic formwork system for waffle slabs in residential and commercial buildings.
The system was developed for lightweight concrete slabs: it creates a grid of two-way ribs that enable large spans between the structural elements of a building.
The SKYDOME system includes of a range of ABS domes of various depths (H 250, 300, 350 and 400 mm), set on special interlocking supports, which make assembly fast and easy.

The system reduces the material and equipment requirements of the job site, with reducing the cost of falsework and of handling & logistics; the regular dome-shaped cavities create an aesthetically pleasing result even when left in plain view.
- COST EFFECTIVE
The void created by SKYDOME generates a significant reduction in the volume of concrete required vs. a solid slab. SKYDOME is effortlessly installed on H20 timber beams, reducing the forming cost of the slab.
- SAFETY
SKYDOME is completely self-supporting, and does not require any support platform or special safety devices. The system can be assembled from below, guaranteing extra safety to the job site workers.
- TECHNOLOGY
The special dome shape of the SKYDOME forms makes it possible to create waffle slabs with great span, structurally extremely efficient thanks to their low weight.
- DISMANTLING
Concrete does not stick to plastic, making dismantling quick and easy. No forming oil is required: all the elements of the system are easily cleansed using just water.
- REUSABLE
Thanks to its shape and to the properties of the materials, SKYDOME is reusable for many pours.
- HANDLING
The system is extremely light and can be easily handled on-site without requiring a crane. SKYDOME can be compactly stored in limited space and does not suffer moisture.
